Thanks for visiting our blog! We decided that it really is the best way to communicate with all our family and friends. I have lots of time now to add photos and comments, but in about 7 months, free time will be a thing of the past!
Here's the reason...we're having a baby! Of course I'm hoping for a genius red-headed girl who will follow in her father's footsteps and become the first female dentist in the King family! Am I getting ahead of myself? Honestly, I just hope it has all the body parts it is meant to have, no more, no less.
Here are the first images of the baby! I was 12 weeks and 1 day when these pictures were taken. It was moving like crazy, kicking, punching and flipping around (a la Parrish), and then settled down for a nap (a la Katie). We are due October 3, 2009. I already checked and that is the day of the Auburn vs. Tennessee game, but I got lucky since it's an away game.
We get to go back in about 7 weeks to have another ultrasound and yes, we are going to find out what we're having. I'm way too Type-A to let that one be a surprise! We hope you'll keep us in your prayers as we go through this exciting time in our lives.
