Sylvie went to see Dr. E today for her 4 month check up and second round of vaccinations. She is 18 weeks old, weighs 11 lbs. 7 oz., is 23 3/4 inches long and her head is 16 inches around. The doctor is very pleased with her growth and says she will be small but taller than me. She is close to the 50th percentile for her height and head size, but is heading toward the 25th to 30th percentile for her weight. I got all my questions answered and she got shots...which would've been fine except that Dr. E made her mad before she got them. Talk about angry...I felt bad for the nurses that had to give the shots! It took a few minutes for her to calm down, but by the time we got home and fed, she was smiling at me again. We are supposed to practice standing up...she doesn't like this at all (hence the temper tantrum when Dr. E tried to make her do it. I feel I have a strong-willed child in my future).
So good news all around to report! Hope you're all doing well...we are enjoying a break in the cold temperatures and getting out and about more.
