Miss Sylvie turned nine months old today. We can't believe we've had her for this long...being pregnant for nine months seemed to drag on and on, but good things come to those who wait! We had our well check-up with Dr. E and Sylvie is right on track. She still weighs less than 15 pounds (14 lb. 13 oz. to be exact), but meets all her milestones and is very healthy. She is pulling up, talks all the time and REALLY wants to crawl (her knees just keep slipping out from under her). My favorite habit is a full night's sleep (the promised land!!) that she gives us each night, even when we travel. We don't have teeth yet, but have yet to resort to having Daddy make a baby denture (I don't mind the gums since I'm still breastfeeding. Yikes). In other words, we are so proud of our little girl! She is just a joy to play with, is very passionate (a nice word for DRAMA QUEEN), and is very bright (babbles ALL the time). We love to see her smile and see her "silent" laugh (huge open mouth with no sound coming out).
We hope all is well this summer...we are staying inside or in the pool due to the extreme heat and humidity we are enjoying right now.
