We celebrated Sylvie's first year with a pool party at her Nana & Papa's house. It was a super hot day, so it turned out to be a great idea for all the kiddos. We were so happy that so much of our (scattered) family could join us for her special day. My parents came from the lake, Parrish's mom and stepdad drove from Louisiana, Parrish's brother came from Auburn, Parrish's aunt and uncle came up from Ft. Walton, and my sister wins the longest distance prize as she and her family drove from South Carolina. Of course all our local family joined us, too, and it was a great day!
Sylvie received WAY too many sweet presents, swam like a fish, smashed a cake, refused ice cream, blew out a candle, rode in a wagon, went down a water slide, ate pizza and passed out. Sounds like my days before I had a baby! Now we have a year to plan her next party...

Daredevil.

Cousin Bailey LOVED the pool.
