Holidazed.

So what if it's January 7th and I'm just getting around to chatting about our Christmas? It also took me about two weeks to take down our decorations and put all of our loot away. But that spurred on a major cleaning project of the whole house, so every spare moment I have I'm strategically getting rid of three years worth of accumulated junk since we moved into this house. I'm getting closer but still have several closets and cabinets to tackle. The plan is a yard sale this spring, if I can live with the ever-growing mound of (junk) really great stuff you want to buy. I also notoriously hate January (let it forever be struck of the calendar) so I'm trying to stay super busy as though to rush through it so quickly that it doesn't even know I'm here. Ridiculous, I know, to hate an inanimate object such as a month, but there be it.

Highlights from December:
Lunch with Mimi and Poppy in Mobile for Mimi's birthday.

"I'm like a princess!"

Welcoming baby Stella Grace Harden. Has since asked me if I have a baby in my tummy.
Not sure how to take that.

Making cookies for Santa.

Leaving treats for Santa and the reindeer (we also sprinkled reindeer food in the front yard).

Christmas morning...painting after hearing Santa's bells as his sleigh flew out of sight!

What's Christmas morning without a mustache?

Christmas goodies.

Off to church.

"I wanna paint!"

I don't think Harry was as enthusiastic about sharing as Sylvie was.
She's very generous with her toys.

Reading the Christmas story on Christmas morning.

Card table playhouse from Mimi.

"Meet me at the corner!"

New Years' Eve with friends and sparklers.

Finally relinquished a beautiful guest room to the munchkin...I can now see the living room floor and breathe again. I didn't realize how much stuff the little twerp has accumulated!

God Bless and Happy 2012,
Katie
