Here are a few pictures of our completed nursery. I think all we have left to do is clean really well in there and finish one art project. I'm very proud of the way it turned out, and couldn't have done it without my mom, Cathy, Parrish and many others. I hope she likes it!
Here is Sylvie's bed. Please notice the dust ruffle, my favorite part.
Here is the couch Parrish will be sleeping on while I nurse (anyone want to bet how often that will be? No one likes a sluggish dentist...)
Here is our glider, the most comfortable chair ever.
Our changing table, courtesy of Petersen Antiques. I love this piece. Also, custom art and diaper stacker...could this girl get more spoiled?
And finally, Sylvie's bookshelf. Before too long, it will be covered in science and math books, courtesy of Daddy.We had a fabulous baby shower in Andalusia this past weekend. Of course, the people in this town are majorly generous, so Sylvie is pretty much set for life. I loved opening the presents for her, and kept having to correct myself...these bibs, blankets and outfits are NOT for me.
