Happy Pre-Valentine's Day

We had a super cute Valentine's party at our church last week. I am now the children's event planner...imagine that. We had a great time making cookies, cards and dancing, dancing, dancing. I'm so glad my parents were there to help me...chaos has never been my strong suit. We'll see how the year goes...this was the first of many church events that I'll be planning, unless the kids manage to frighten me away first.

The best part of the event was getting to take the kid's Valentine's to our assisted living facility today. BFFs Ollie and Sylvie did a magnificent job of handing out cards to the sweet residents who were waiting for us. I really haven't seen anything so cute in a long time. I am so proud of our girls...hopefully early service will have an impact on them for the rest of their lives. I'm actually hoping to take them out again soon so Ollie can shake her bootie like she likes it. Sylvie told me today that she loves Ollie and Ollie told her grandpa that Sylbie Sue was her best friend. Love.
