Endings

Sylvie has kept us busy this past week with all of her "endings."  She had a program at Mother's Day Out on Thursday that was just too cute.  She has learned so much there...songs I remember singing at VBS years ago but now I can't remember the words, and Sylvie's the first one to remind me that I'm wrong.  Nanie came too and even Daddy was able to get off of work for a few minutes to see her on stage.  She really does love to sing and do motions!  My favorite is "Peace like a River" but "This Little Light of Mine" is definitely the munchkin's top choice.
Hugging sweet Bella.

We havin' cake...Beverly said so.

We also got to experience our first dance recital on Saturday.  I definitely think her little group was the best, duh.  My favorite part was getting to put makeup on her sweet face (MK samples...Pink Passion is a must) and her favorite part was getting to go on the big stage in her costume (Mary Had a Little Lamb).  We were accompanied by Papa, Nana, Cole, Catherine & Caroline, who were so sweet to come and bring roses!  This is the first of many recitals, I'm sure.  We've been dancing with The Co. this year but we're making the transition to Andalusia Ballet this summer.  She really seems to love it and is very good for her age in following instructions and more importantly, not freaking out on stage.  I'm really surprised at how many skills they were able to teach two-year-olds.

Cutest lamb ever.

Good luck flowers.

What rehearsal will do to a two year old...audible snoring like a man.

A very important "ending" happened on Friday...the end of my sister's pregnancy!  Of course it's a wonderful beginning, too, but if you ask a nine-month-pregnant mother of a toddler, I'd think she'd say she was pretty glad to see the big belly come to an end!  We got the most beautiful niece/cousin out of this ending...Lucy Williams!  I can't wait to go see her later this month.  They are doing well, adjusting to having another body in the house.  Bailey is being sweet, but did ask when Lucy was leaving.  Sorry, sister, she's there to stay.  Carey had another easy labor (I guess that's relative...she probably thought it pretty much sucked while in the throes of it, but compared to my experience, I pretty much hate her).  The baby looks so much like her Daddy at this point, and since Bailey is the spitting image of her mommy, we are all excited to see what she'll grow up to be like.

Brand new!
Snoozer.
Lips like her daddy!

God Bless,
Katie
