My girl.

Sylvie had her ADTC recital(s) this weekend.  They had to have two shows because people literally clamor to get a seat at the thing.  I guess that's what happens in small towns...not much else to do but watch adolescents in shiny hot pants shake it and do a cartwheel.  It really was a precious show, of course with Sylvie's class taking the prize.  Sixteen three-year-olds dancing to "My Girl"...could it really get any sweeter?

We did have many rehearsals, makeup and hair sessions (many thanks to our resident cosmetologist, Nana) and "professional" pictures made.  The event actually prompted Parrish to say that he could learn to French braid her hair.  Please do, honey, because it confuses me and makes my head hurt trying to figure out why that it works and where the hair is supposed to go.  Sheesh.

We had lots of support from family...Papa, Nana, Nanie, JJ, Ferg and Mimi all made the trek for those oh-so-important 2 1/2 minutes of her little life.  And all the cousins were in the show...we really enjoyed watching Caroline, Catherine and Porter show off their skills as well.  That Catherine is a natural...she was a joy to watch and especially to see how confident she has become.

Red, red lips.
With her biggest fan, Nanie.
Lots of flowers for the star.
Post show poodle hair at Rancho Grande.
Don't believe the angelic pose.
Looks so pretty, like a Disney princess.
Hanging out that tongue in concentration.
Tippy toes.
Beautiful Nana braids.
Posing with Annistyn.
Attempting to pose with Caroline.
God Bless,
Katie
