I guess I'm not a very good blogger, but I don't find my life all that interesting!
We are excited about getting our nursery ready. I found the cutest fabric at T&C Pharmacy in Opp (shout out...they are GREAT...small town gem!!). We are currently sewing everything from scratch, thanks to the limitless skills of Cathy and my mom. I'm a great assistant and am learning a lot, although I'm not sure I'm really helping or hurting each project (the seam ripper isn't really a tool you want to become too familiar with). Parrish is our painter and product researcher (as if you thought he'd do it any other way). We will have the safest baby on the block!
We do have a name...we'll welcome Sylvia Elizabeth King this fall, Sylvie for short.
We're already enjoying a hot Alabama summer. Parrish stays very busy at work, but squeezes in time to check on our garden. I think he might enter his tomatoes at the county fair! I get to go see my sister and her baby, Bailey, in a few weeks. Hopefully I'll get some tips on raising a girl with Ferguson genes...quite a handful, I'm sure.
