The Kings

Just a small update. I'm beginning to think we're a little boring. Parrish is currently painting the baby's bathroom and I'm about to make a casserole. I guess having a boring pregnancy is a wonderful blessing...I love the fact that I wait an hour to see my OB and then get to spend a whopping 5 minutes with him! For the first time in my life, I really enjoy being called "normal" (usually I prefer talented, funny and the life of the party).

I'll go for my sugar test the week after July 4th...nasty business if you ask me. Not only do they torture you with a warm syrupy beverage, but you get stuck twice with a needle! But I suppose it's necessary. Our baby classes start soon, too. I'm very excited about that, since I know zilch about babies at this point.

I did get to spend a few days with my beautiful niece, sister and mom in South Carolina this week. Bailey is probably the cutest baby I've ever seen (no, I'm not biased or anything). She is a good imitator, a great eater and the best drama queen I've encountered, myself excluded. I told her I had cornered the market on drama, thank you very much.

Sylvie moves constantly...I really think the doctor must have missed the second baby in there. How else could she kick my right rib and my lower left abdomen simultaneously? Maybe she has extra-long legs or arms...further proof that she's Parrish's!
