Slowly but surely...

We have started our nursery! Parrish has been working hard painting, and I have helped with sewing all of the items we'll need (or really that I want her to have!). Yes, if you were wondering, I think she just might be a princess. Here are some photos:

Here is our bedding. Yes, I now have custom bedding. Don't start placing orders yet...I started a small sweat shop at Cathy's house and I'm pretty sure I'm only getting this one shot. Sorry, second child, you might get a Wal-Mart special.

Here is the electrician hanging Sylvie's chandelier (oops, that's Parrish. Seriously, is there anything the man can't do?? Let me know).

And last but not least...

Here is Sylvie in all her glory. I no longer can see my feet when I stand up. It's monumental (the time in her life or my belly...the choice is yours!). I'm about to hit 24 weeks. Time is flying by, for sure.

I will recommend the book "Baby Bargains," as well as a subscription to Consumer Reports, to help with baby shopping. This is the BEST way to get the man in your life involved, if not EXCITED, about spending money on something that weighs about 7 pounds.
