We just returned from a weekend in Jacksonville to visit our family there. We had so much fun and really tested Sylvie's limits...she, of course, succeeded with flying colors. She is always full of surprises and that makes us very happy parents. We left on Thursday night and Sylvie slept for the entire five hour drive, followed by immediately falling asleep once we made it to Aunt Beth's. She then played hard with her cousins (first meeting, so cute!) each day and slept peacefully each night. We were so pleased! Even the drive home today was not so bad...three naps, great lunch at our favorite exit off of I-10 and only a little bit of restlessness in the middle (can't blame her...my joints were aching and I was bored, too). Here are some highlights:

New best friends, Sylvie and little Maylin (sweetest baby ever).

All the cousins. How fun will this be??

Aunt Beth & Sylvie.

Cousin Scott (I truly can't believe he's almost 6...he told me I wasn't "affiliated" with him. I don't think I even know what that word means. He's a mess).

Sylvie & McRae.

Sylvie & McRae, again!
